At Pathway to Hope Ministry, we believe God designed and defined marriage between a man and a woman, a beautiful covenant with God. I am a huge proponent of premarital counseling. It is imperative to start your marriage on a strong foundation. Strengthening your skills in communication and conflict resolution as well as learning how to react and respond to situations will help you to avoid creating a mountain out of a molehill. Marriage is beautiful. However, it does intensify both the good and bad.

 

Premarital counseling is conducted using the Prepare & Enrich assessment test. At the completion of your premarital counseling, you will receive a certificate that will offer you a discount on your marriage license.

Let’s face it, marriage can be difficult at times. Even the strongest of marriages have seasons that seem tougher than others. Whether it be work, finances, children, or even relocating. We face challenges and need to talk with someone to help regain focus again.

 

Marriage counseling at Pathway to Hope Ministry will help you to regain your focus and see why you chose to do life together in the first place. Grief can become so overwhelming that you begin to wonder if you’ll ever be happy again. There are different types of grief, some that you may have not even considered. 

Grief of a loved one, divorce, pet, friendship, failure, feeling that you’ve lost your identity, just a few to mention.

 

There is hope and yes you will be happy again. Grief is a journey. Grief does not look the same for everyone. Grief does not have a timeline. When you have suffered grief, it is extremely important to seek help to get the guidance you need to process your grief.

At Pathway to Hope Ministry we understand the different types of grief and how they impact an individual. It is important to reject the pressure that says “I just need to be strong and get over it “. You don’t get over grief, you process through grief to receive your healing. We are here to help you process and gain your strength to overcome your grief.
